neverending topic. however, i was fortunate enough to participate on a seminar of psychology / human brain and there the whole multitasking thing was cleared up.
there is NO such thing as human "multitasking".
our brain can only process one thing at a time... the brain can switch very quickly between the tasks, but never processes two or more things at a time.
the switching time can be improved by practice. (drumming, driving + talking, etc.)
the difference between male and female "multitasking" capabilities are virtually nonexistent, or an "urban legend".
